Job description

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Site Management & Communication:

   - Complete and manage the Site Diary to maintain a record of daily activities.

   -Lead the daily DABS

   - Manage all relevant client communications, ensuring effective and clear interactions with stakeholders.

   - Coordinate and sequence the installation of mechanical services with the project team to meet scheduled dates.

 

2. Documentation & Compliance:

   - Prepare method statements and risk assessments for all construction activities, ensuring that all HVAC deliverables are within project and safety criteria.

   - Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.

   - Ensure that plant materials onsite meet agreed specifications and that delivered materials are safely stored.

 

3. Project Commercials & Planning:

   - Validate the project on handover from estimating and proceed with the procurement of equipment, sub-contractors, and suppliers.

   - Assist with the documentation and costing of changes to work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.

   - Support the completion of the project schedule, including 12-week look-aheads, and report on progress while identifying future issues/roadblocks.

   - Ensure labour requirements align with the project program.

 
 
 
 
 
 

4. Quality Control & Subcontractor Management:

   - Maintain a high level of quality in all works and manage subcontractor activities.

   - Ensure variations and delays are reported to Project Management in a timely manner.

   - Lead commissioning activities to ensure timely completion and promptly follow up on issues.

 

5. Health, Safety & Compliance:

   - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards on-site, and ensure subcontractors work safely.

   - Implement changes to improve safety and complete weekly ‘Observation’ cards.

   - Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the site.

   - Work closely with package managers to develop and implement company procedures.
