About Designer Group

Designer Group is a leading international mechanical & electrical contractor. With 1,000+ employees across Ireland, Europe, Africa, and South America, we deliver turnkey design, supply, and installation of M&E services to global clients across multiple sectors.

We’re proud to partner with some of the world’s most recognised brands—and even prouder of the people who deliver these projects. Our team is ambitious, collaborative, and empowered to grow.

Everything we do is grounded in our core values: Safe | Trust | Respect | Challenge | Deliver

Now is the time to join us, as we scale under our Engineering Our Future 2025 strategy.

The Opportunity

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for both technical and corporate roles across our global operations. But this role is much more than just filling jobs—it’s about shaping the way we engage talent, enhance our employer brand, and future-proof our workforce.

You’ll:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer across a variety of functions

  • Partner with hiring managers to forecast needs and plan strategically for current and future roles

  • Develop engaging, inclusive job descriptions and coordinate job postings across platforms

  • Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, talent databases, events, and referrals

  • Screen, interview, and guide candidates through a consistent, engaging selection process

  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects our values and culture

  • Maintain and update our ATS, ensuring clean data and workflow alignment

  • Support hiring manager capability with coaching on process, interview structure, and candidate evaluation

  • Work closely with HR to ensure smooth onboarding handovers and contract processes

Beyond day-to-day recruitment, you’ll also:

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our employer branding content and EVP messaging

  • Support early careers hiring initiatives and build talent pipelines for key roles

  • Help design and roll out improvements to our recruitment process, documentation, and policies

  • Create regular recruitment reports and dashboards to support business visibility and planning

  • Collaborate on TA projects across areas like diversity & inclusion, workforce mobility, and internal mobility

  • Represent Designer Group at job fairs, industry events, open days and campus engagements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in recruitment (agency background preferred)

  • Strong communication skills and confidence partnering with stakeholders

  • Experience sourcing and managing candidates across multiple channels

  • Curiosity to learn and grow in broader Talent Acquisition disciplines

  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a solutions mindset

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and applicant tracking systems

  • A qualification in HR, business, or marketing is helpful but not essential

Why Join Us?

  • A genuine opportunity to develop beyond recruitment into full-spectrum TA

  • Supportive, down-to-earth team culture

  • Career development, mentorship and real ownership of your work

  • Hybrid work flexibility and a collaborative office in Dublin

  • The chance to help shape how we attract, engage, and hire the best talent globally
