Engineering Internship

Designer Group is offering Internship opportunities for students interested in Engineering & Quantity Surveyor to join its growing engineering & Commercial department. You will join a team of ambitions, innovative engineers challenged with delivering projects from our diverse range of clients from a commercial office fit out, to a prefabricated modular MV switch room, to a Biomass Boiler Plant in Africa.

The Engineering & Commercial Team are essential departments within Designer Group and forms part of the foundation of every project. The Engineering & Commercial Team are directly responsible for several key components in a project, delivering the highest standard of safety and quality. 

Designer Group is always at the forefront of the latest design and construction technology. From utilising design software, 3D modelling, point cloud scanning and 3D printing, Designer Group ensures their teams are equipped with the latest and best technology to ensure innovative solutions.  

About the Internship 

A flexible timeline designed to provide hands-on experience within core teams across Designer Group, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional skills with a leading international M&E Contractor.

Providing interns with an environment where you are encouraged to directly influence projects and actively collaborate across the industrial, retails, pharma, leisure, residential and commercial sectors. The internship provides office and site-based assignment to project teams.

Key Requirements 

• Currently studying a Level 7 Degree in a related field
• Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
• Strong work ethic
