BIM Graduate
As a BIM Graduate, one of your main focuses will be to assist in the development of systems and designs, coordinate building services layouts, management of drawing registers and standards. You will be liaising closely with our client representatives, project managers, site supervisors and with our own design team. You will be reporting directly to the BIM Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities as BIM Graduate
As part of an exciting company expansion project, Designer Group is seeking for a BIM Graduate to join our BIM Department.
* Support the production of detailed MEP construction models.
* Aid in the development of 2d drawing layouts per project requirements.
* Assist site staff with model details/ verification and walks as required.
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholder counterparts and liaise with senior project staff.
* Adhere to and uphold DG protocol and standard operating procedures.
* Assist model development per project standards as set out in the BEP and project documentation
* Attend internal team meetings and project meetings through all phases of project
* Attend site visits for model verification and site workshops.
* Run clash tests in Navisworks and produce reports on a frequent basis.
* Maintain project documentation in adherence to DG filing procedures.
* Make model/ drawing amendments as required by the project team.
* Shadow senior co-ordinator throughout the project duration
* Support handover team for project closure documentation
* Assist the handover team in the preparation of the AIM at handover phase.
* Navigate the model in workshops/ meetings in support of the senior co-ordinator.
* Complete drawing amendments in line with project requirements.
* Document control – Completion & maintenance of project transmittal documentation
Your Education & Skills
* Level 7/8 Degree in Building Information Modelling or a related Engineering Undergraduate Degree (Level 7/8)
* Technical ability to understand and use various 2D and 3D software’s.
* Technical knowledge of Mechanical/ Electrical /Construction practices
* Experience in software applications (Revit, Navisworks and BIM360) desirable but not essential
* Ability to work in a vibrant multi-discipline 3D design environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong work ethic
