About the Role
We’re recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at the St. James’s Gate site in Dublin, delivering works on a landmark Diageo project. This is a hands-on site leadership role where you’ll take ownership for all mechanical installation activities, ensuring works are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards, on time and on budget.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising mechanical installation teams and subcontractors on site
- Coordinating closely with electrical and CSA teams to keep all work fronts aligned
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and ensuring works meet client and Designer Group standards
- Monitoring progress against programme milestones and resolving any delays or interface issues
- Driving a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, safety audits and method statement reviews
- Overseeing QA/QC processes, mechanical testing and commissioning activities
- Managing redline drawings, as-built documentation and maintaining accurate site records
What you’ll bring:
- Mechanical trade qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience supervising mechanical works on large-scale or complex projects
- Strong knowledge of piping, HVAC, plant installations and associated infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coordinate multiple workstreams
- Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
