Reporting to: Senior Quantity Surveyor 

 

As the M&E Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be working closely with the Senior Commercial Lead for brand new projects at Heathrow Airport from pre-con to completion. Your role involves overseeing and coordinating commercial aspects of the project to ensure smooth operations all the way through to final accounts. 

 

Our client is £500million + turnover business with a strong order book at Heathrow Airport and London for the next few years. 

 

This is the perfect opportunity for any Junior/Assistant or Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor that is looking to take the next step in their career with a company who can offer progression and stability over the next few years. 

 
 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Managing Subcontracts 

  • Supporting Commercial Reporting 

  • Estimating small works and variations 

  • Coordinating with finance for timely payments 

  • Providing reports to PQS for client applications 

  • Conducting regular site inspections 

  • Quantifying works 

  • Adhering to predetermined budgets to optimise margins. 

  • Reporting into a Senior Commercial Lead 

 

Knowledge/Experience 

  • 2 years experience +  

  • Mechanical or Electrical background is essential  

  • Ideally NEC or JCT contract experience
